Responding deftly to market trends, Spansive launched a comprehensive redesign of their flagship product, entrusting Spanner to deliver world-class product design and engineering, as with their earlier initial product when Spanner helped put Spansive (formerly Pi) squarely on the map in the wireless charging market. The engineering challenges didn’t get any easier – rapid wireless charging requires a lot of current through a substantial coil, also known as a resistance heater. Working closely with the electrical engineering and industrial design teams, Spanner developed a visually compelling product, shaped to manage thermal dissipation while enabling a seamless user experience.
