From the day Brava Home founder Thomas Cheng brought his first hacked toaster oven into our conference room, cooking us a Michelin-quality steak in four minutes by commanding the secret technology inside from his laptop, we were hooked. We have supported product development at Brava in extensive and myriad ways over the last few years, from initial concept validation to solving production issues, leading up to the proud public launch of this amazing product in Palo Alto last year from a dynamic company now numbering near 100 employees.
Spanner collaborated with Brava Home with broad, comprehensive support in a full development program, from initial product concept definition through system architecture, detail design & testing, manufacturability and pre-production issue resolution. Primary efforts focused on maintaining ID intent, assembly processes, safety considerations and thermal management. The result is a product that is as reliable and functional as it is simple and beautiful.
