Omvon Viper Robot

Omron saw an opportunity to introduce a distinct look with organic curves for their refreshed series of Viper robots and engaged Spanner to craft high-quality 3D CAD models with complex surfacing. Spanner rose to the occasion by not only crafting these detailed models but also devising a smart solution for multiple robot sizes.  Instead of building separate models, we constructed a single, adaptable master model that Omron's engineers could easily modify to generate the specific dimensions needed for each size. This innovative approach saved them significant time and resources while ensuring consistency across the entire Viper line.  

But Spanner's contribution extended beyond the models themselves. Recognizing the importance of empowering Omron for the future, we provided training sessions alongside the design reviews, equipping their engineers with the knowledge to leverage the master model for future robot generations. Spanner's combined expertise in design, efficient modeling, and knowledge transfer played a key role in bringing Omron's Viper vision to life.
