Gazelle TheOne Charger
The Challenge
The team at Gazelle sought to develop an ultra-high efficiency 65W USB-C charger that transcended the ordinary by applying Wise Integration’s GaN technology for reduced heat emission in a compact size. The goal was to create a charging solution that not only delivered exceptional performance but also embodied a premium, fashion-forward aesthetic.
The Approach
Our design journey began with a collaborative deep dive into user personas, identifying key desires for premium aesthetics, chic design elements, and a "wow" factor. Inspired by the client's reference sketches, we generated a wide range of concept sketches, exploring form factors that were both functional and visually striking.

Key Design Workstreams
Concept Exploration: Extensive sketching and brainstorming sessions led to the development of diverse concepts, pushing the boundaries of traditional charger design.
Rapid Prototyping: Full-scale form studies were fabricated to evaluate ergonomics, weight distribution, and the overall in-hand feel of the charger.
Collaboration & Refinement: Close collaboration with the engineering team ensured the design was both aesthetically pleasing and manufacturable.
CMF Exploration: Extensive research and experimentation were conducted to select the optimal color palette and accent materials, resulting in a sophisticated and distinctive final product.

The resulting Gazelle TheOne Charger is a testament to innovative design. Its sleek form, premium materials, and distinctive colorways make it a standout in the competitive charging market.
