Mockingbird High Chair

The highlight of our product development work is collaborating with great clients - the bonus is the opportunity to collaborate with great clients on multiple projects! The Mockingbird High Chair is the result of another successful team-up between Mockingbird and Spanner, embodying many of the things we believe in: ingenuity, sustainability, functionality, durability, and clean design. The result is a high chair that looks great, stands the test of time, and adjusts to each stage of early childhood; from baby through toddler stage and beyond.

Spanner worked closely with Mockingbird on the Strategic Architecture, Strength of Materials Assessment, and Design for Assembly for the connection point between the wood frame and the infant chair.

Some of the unique features of the High Chair include: 

• The extra supportive ergonomic design

• The adjustable footrest and tray meet the child at their stage of development and growth

• The silicone-coated straps – can be wiped clean or even popped into the dishwasher. If you’ve experienced kids and nasty straps, you get it 

• And our favorite: the 2 in 1! When a child is ready to graduate to sitting at the table, the high chair seat slides off - without tools - and converts into a dining chair

The outcome?  A high chair that solves everything parents usually don’t like about their high chair - easy to clean, easy to use, and easy to adjust for a supportive fit.
